The project to operate the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Marib Governorate provided a range of medical services to 322 beneficiaries—Yemeni citizens who had lost limbs—during January 2024, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

During the project, 1,419 services were provided, with males accounting for 72% and females for 28% of the total beneficiaries. Displaced persons made up 84% of the total beneficiaries, while residents accounted for 16%. The services included the fitting and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy, and specialized consultations.

This is part of the humanitarian projects carried out by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to strengthen the capacity of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people
