أوضحت وزارة الصحة أن عدد الحجاج الذين تلقوا الخدمات العلاجية عبر المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة بلغ (43425) حاجاً وحاجةً منذ تاريخ 1 /11/ 1443هـ وحتى تاريخ 4 /12/ 1443هـ.
وبينت الوزارة أن ضيوف الرحمن استفادوا من الخدمات العلاجية التخصصية النوعية، حيث قدمت المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية مجموعة من الخدمات، منها إجراء (5) عمليات قلب مفتوح، و(66) قسطرة قلبية، وإجراء (182) عملية غسيل كلوي، وعمليتي مناظير، و(95) عملية جراحية، ودخول ( 297) حاجاً وحاجة إلى المستشفيات، وتسجيل حالة ولادة واحدة، إضافة إلى مشاركة مستشفى الصحة الافتراضي لتقديم عدد من الخدمات الافتراضية منها (4) حالات تشخيص جلطات دماغية، وبلغ عدد المستفيدين من خدمات الاستشارة الفورية (تطبيق صحتي) 743 حاجاً وحاجة.
يذكر أن “الصحة” جهّزت خلال موسم حج هذا العام 1443هـ في مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة والمدينة المنورة منشآتها الصحية لتقديم الخدمات العلاجية لضيوف الرحمن، حيث بلغ عدد المستشفيات (23) مستشفى، يساندها (147) مركزًا صحيًّا، وزادت سعتها السريرية إلى (4654) سريراً، فيما بلغ عدد الأسرّة المخصصة للعناية المركزة (1080)، والمخصصة لضربات الشمس (238), وعدد الكوادر الصحية المؤهلة لخدمة ضيوف الرحمن نحو (25) ألف ممارس.
وأعدت الوزارة نقاطًا طبية في قطار المشاعر وقطار الحرمين، وكثفت جهودها في المنطقة المركزية للحرم المكي الشريف, إضافةً إلى توفير (180) سيارة إسعاف، وتهيئة (16) مركز طوارئ على منشأة جسر الجمرات في مشعر منى.
